Quick Expeditionary Force Update Arab Skirmishers
Scott has given a short update on their line.
Very pleased to inform you of the release of one new set as follows:-
60 ALB 04 Medieval Arab Skirmishers
This product is scheduled for the July 2023 release, but the toolings were delayed. The production guys managed to get the first batch to us on the last day of July 2023 and thus we can only get it out by now.
Apologies for the delay.
August 2023 release are in toolings and hopefully, there is no delay this time. The sets are Napoleonic artillery and rocket troops.
Steve Pyle Announcement
Steve Pyle let me know the following. Just got good news. The Gettysburg toy soldier show has found room for me to display diorama conversions and awards of toy soldiers. They just let me know there is a space for me to promote what can be done with common plastics. This will be a great addition to the show so take time out to view this display.

Speaking of Gettysburg the next show is August 27. This a great show with loads of plastic. Mike Predergast of Warhorse Miniatures will be there with great creations plus other items. I will be roaming around as usual. Hope to see you there.
Das Awkscht Fescht 2023 Toy Show Review
The Das Awkscht Fescht Toy Show has a special place for me. It was my first show and the only toy show that my father attended. I missed last year as I was recovering from my stint in the hospital. So I went over and was sad about what I saw on Friday. There were only twelve dealers. This show had a hundred dealers on the outside. I walked around and found only some Marx gas station accessories I can use in my listing. One funny thing as I was walking into the show Tom Stine sees me and says I have Men of 76 for sale. Are you interested? I said yes. He turns around and pulls out the fort. It is one item I do not want from this series, so I pass. I skipped Saturday and doubt I will go back.
I’m a bit skeptical about the slinger using such shields or else as rather small protection
and generally other hand need be free to keep grabbing stones ,is like archers with shield in hands ,however the use of one hand to load and shoot stone while carrying shield in other hand is being described in some books ;rest looks good.My thoughts
