Part Two February 2023 Warhansa Suspension

Part Two February 2023 Warhnsa Suspension, I start with news of Warhansa suspending operations and why. Next, I share various photos of figures from the collection. I have just done an equipment update with another one in two weeks. Finally, I have to answer the question of how long have I been doing this hobby.

Part Two February 2023 Musketeers
Warhansa has announced that they are suspending operations. On Facebook, they said the following: Dear Hobbyists! Unfortunately, due to unstable shipping and payment conditions these days, we are suspending our activities for a while and believe it won’t take long. Still works for the new toy soldiers set. As you can see a future set is the three musketeers

Figure Time

 Beton Jumping horse
Over the years I have had several of the Beton jumping or leaping horse. The problem was they were all mint in the bag. I was finally able to get it loose for the collection.
Part Two February 2023 swoppets
These figures from my very good friend Peter Evans have to be the worse swoppet figures done in China
Part Two February 2023 Timpo copy
Here we have another item from Peter a copy of the Timpo-mounted solid Civil War figure.
Part Two February 2023 kinder
Peter knows I am a fan of Kinder and set me three of the figures from the Frozen series.
Part Two February 2023 Warriors
Here is the worse figure of the Marx Warriors of the World. The Americans Soldiers Marching in WWII. The set had eight different figures but only two different poses 45mm marching helmet and 45mm marching peaked hat. Only for Marx Warriors of the world completists.

Part Two February 2023 simon
I decided to get some of my Uncle Wilbur’s super eight films transferred to DVDs. I went to our local camera store where Phil set me up for the transfer and advised I can get them on a flash drive as well. I told Phil about my problems with my pictures and he first shows a light stand which I will pick up when I get the films back. He also showed me a Nikon 7000. He showed me the macro aspect of the camera and I found the solution to my problem. Also, I like its small size and I would be able to carry this camera easier. I brought it home and you can see the quality I am now getting. We will see how it works out.

How Long

Part Two February 2023 stad
My very good friend Mark Mc Dermott took this photo of me at Zolocon this past week. I can see the last year has taken a toll on me due to health issues and the stress of losing Laurie. He told people that he has known me for 50 years. It got me thinking about how long I have been doing various things. I have been going to flea markets since 1966 when I learn to drive. My parents didn’t drive so I would take them to various flea markets and farmers’ markets. So I have been doing them for 57 years. Toy shows technically my first toy show was in 1966. My dad and I were putting mileage on the car and we stopped at the Macungie Toy Show. I did a few more while my father was alive. I did not get active in toy shows until 1978. So I figure from there 45 years. I will also use 1980 for my lists. My first Plastic Warrior Show is 1988 and the German Plastic show is 1993 so we are talking 35 and 3o years. (Note I have not been to all the shows. It has been a funny time.

I’m surprised Warhansa went with 3 Musketeers when Chintoys just came out with a similar set.

Perhaps they will make great compliments to one another. I am always on the lookout for suitable new poses. Then again, sometimes great minds have the same thoughts… LOL

Paul, none of us are getting any younger; it has been a trying time particularly these last three years. Gotta just keep moving forward, one step at a time.

Your doing great Paul ,keep the good spirit and fight .Long way still .
Russian sellers and makers definitely are struggling with the war ,not doubt .
Chintoy set is more about standart Musketeers,Warhansa is more about the book characters.
