Peter Evans’ Figures Surprise Questions

Peter Evans' Figures Surprise Cowboys
I received a small package from Peter Evans. In it were a couple of questions. The first question was the above Cherilea cowboys. Why a question, the above cowboys are in hard plastic and grey color. the ones in my collection are soft plastic and red in color. They also feel smaller.
Peter Evans' Figures Surprise 24th Foot
The next surprise was the Marlborough 24th Foot on the left. He is the wrong color the original color is red. Second, the figure is downsized from the original. I have no idea about the mounted figure. I can’t wait until I hear from Peter the background on these figures.
Peter Evans' Figures Surprise Star Wars
Peter sent me some other figures including Doctor Octopus and two metal Star Wars figures from 2009.

Warhorse Miniatures a Review

War Horse Saxons
Mike Pendergast has for at least the last year or so been doing 3D printing. This process has opened up for collectors to have the figures they always dream of. Mike started his project doing a Saxon Family and then craftsmen.
Saxon females
The figures are nicely detailed and are designed to fit in with Conte collectibles and other figures. Mike has great poses to enhance your display. The only complaint people will have is they are hard plastic and can break. This is the situation that all 3D printing figures have. We are very, pleased with his figures. and can not wait to see more from Mike. You can check his other figures at Warhorse.com.

Collection Time

figures collection
I am starting to go through my collection to pick items for the display case I am setting up. The figure on the left is the Replicants 10th-anniversary figure. It was issued in 1995 and discontinued in 2001. They were sold unpainted. A few of the figures were painted and given to people which Laurie and I were proud to get. The figure on the right is a Trojan German. This is a small company from the UK’s early days of plastic.
Hard plastic cowboys
I picked up recently these hard plastic cowboys as I had them as a child. Someone bought them for me as I would not have bought I can’t wait to find out who made them.
Jean indian camp
Finally, another item I recently acquired is this Jean Hoeffler Indian accessories. The teepee is missing some of its animal skulls. I will set up a small display with various Jean Hoeffler Indians.

Thank you for the update and correction. I will keep it with the lot. The dealer is not an expert in foreign pieces so he thought they all belong together.

  3. Thin Cowboys and horses were made by Bonnie Bilt and sold in small playsets in the 50s. https://www.angelfire.com/biz/toysoldierhq/zbbroundup.jpg
