April 2022 Odds and Ends Toy Show Reports

April 2022 Odds and Ends Toy Show Reports, I am trying to clear up the backlog of items that have happened in March. Some I will go back in further detail as I get a chance. We have photos from the German Plastic Show and Midwest Toy Soldier Show. I have some requests by collectors on items they are looking for. An update on how I am doing.

April 2022 Odds and Ends Gerrman
The first of the shows the Herne Show or German Plastic Show was the first indoor show in two years. The collectors had a wide selection of plastic figures to purchase. Peter Bergner sent me a link to the photos of the show. You can see in the photos Bergner’s famous tables. This show is the place to find Timpo.

Midwest Toy Soldier Show

 Show Midwest
Atherton Scenics was just one of the dealers in the Midwest Toy Soldiers Show. This is one of the shows that have room trading before the show. Mike Predergast did a report of the room trading. According to Mike, the room trading was a little slow. he did quite well with new figures. We will have more in the coming days.

April 2022 Odds and Ends Collector’s Requests

I have two requests.
The first is from Rich Fisher. Hi Paul Do you have any info on a guy who makes foam/styrofoam Flintstone type buildings. Would like to get in touch with him or just see what he has created.

 romans

Greg Liska is looking for the following: I’m looking for at least 2 bags of these. Can anybody help me find them? I mostly need the infantrymen, but I’d make use of all of them. See pic.

My Update

I am doing okay. I have been busy with setting up the estate and cleaning. Laurie had lots of clothes. So far I have taken 30 bags of clothes to the Salvation Army with more to go out. I find surprises like a large bag of Marachia cassettes! Then I find pictures from our wedding which I have not seen in 30 years.

I have been going out to flea markets. Today, I ran into another collector who I have not seen in years. I found out his wife is in poor health.

I am working to get back to normal. More to come.

Glad to see Mars back in production again in light of the tragedy occurring in that unfortunate country. The US Winter Infantry have definitely caught my attention and can’t wait for its eventual release. Thanks as always for the information since this is my first time posting.

Best Wishes to You Paul !
