Ken Chiak of LOD Enterprises posted the above photo of robin Hood merrymen on Facebook. According to Rahway, These figures were from masters that Ron Barzso found in February. The figures are being done in resin. There are five different poses they are as follows:
  1. Merryman sitting drinking from a mug.
  2. Sitting eating a chicken leg.
  3. Standing with a mug raised ready for a toast.
  4. Merryman tilting to the left. His right arm is up to carry a barrel.
  5. Standing with a Longstaff in his right hand.

The Maid Marian character figure is also planned to be with the five merrymen figures. Right now the figure you see is a 3D printed version. The figures will be sold five Merrymen to abag plus Maid Marian. Ken hopes to havethemready for Chicago in September.

On this set and other Richard Conte said this. “
I’m trying to decide the most cost-efficient way to add hand-to-hand sets to the range….might have to look at production alternatives(not plastic injection molds). Maybe make single-color pewter sets again. I am reluctant to use resin for all sorts of reasons. We have I think 7 hand-to-handsets sculpted. I think a few hands to handsets are essential to any Roman-German battle

Sorry guys..but no wonder Marians still a maid. That’s a very unflattering facial sculpt.

  3. ERWIN SELL says:

Never fun of RB as pure legend myth in my personal collection have no run or interest ,I can give use to the figures as bunch drinking at a cavern scene or peasant army ,militia else with “‘lady Marian” as on old court woman .The face in guys looks better than in her .
CONTE-The barbarian looks great ,very early type barbarian by leather clothing ,the poses are more suitable x loose pair or small set ,not as part of actual action large set pose in my view.
    my thoughts

    Robin’s merry men would fit
    in with the Christmas elves.
