Odds Ends Plasty Cowboy

Odds Ends Plasty Cowboy
On one of the first trips to Germany, I picked up this Plasty cowboy. I like it because it had a coat. This was different than most other cowboys I have. the face it more realistic than the first version Timpo cowboys. I can put a timpo pistol in his hand to replace the missing Plasty pistol.

Odds Ends Plasty Cowboy Collection Time

Britains Redcoat
Britains came out with the American Revolution colonials and redcoats from 1964 to 1967. There are six different foot poses for each side. They were reissued for the American Bicentennial but in less detail. The above figure is redcoat marching. This is how the soldiers marched
Jescan man
Years ago I got the above figure painted. He was part of a series of figures from Reamsa stagecoach. The series has two women firing pistols which were the inspiration for the western woman we did with Replicants. Later the Jescan figures were reissued and this one from that period.
Maverick
The Spanish did a number of western characters I wished I had as a child. Here we have Maverick. I believe he is from Comansi.
 Indian kneeling
Lastly, we have a Pech Indian chief kneeling with a rifle. when photographing figures there is always one that gives you a challenge. I could not do my normal trick of putting a support item behind the figure. This time I had to put the support on its right side.

Plastic Platoon Cavalry with Horse

BMC WWII Japanese

Rahway shares a link from BMC. BMC will be releasing the BMC WWII Japanese later this year. The bag will have 30 figures in seven poses for $13.80

That cowboy with foot on rock has a pistol large enough to be a Lemat with shotgun charge and normal charge if it had a smaller under barrel.

    • ERWIN SELL says:

Just a bad done revolver and other hand is tabaco.
Comansi as well Jecsan figures were not good in weapons detail. The poses were their best choice/strong as well amount poses and diversity per set
The foot is on a of money bag .
Reamsa and PH were better in weapons ,yet not quite good either.
The best spaniard maker in detail of weapons was Lafredo
