Going through the collection, I pulled out two spacemen from the Spanish drawer. The figure on the left is one of the later version of Comansi Spaceman. The earlier versions were painted figures. I discovered when I got the figure on the left under the light I discovered it was not from Spain. It was a Bonux figure from France. Bonux is a detergent that was sold in France. They put in various items in the detergent including figures. Most of the figures were copies of other figures including Timmee army. I got another Bonux figure from Brian Carrick at Plastic Warrior show 2018. I am curious who they copied.
Jescan spaceman
These Jescan spacemen I got in Pasadena, CA. I had gotten these figures on one of my trips to Pasadena, CA. I had found a small toy collectible shop and purchased these figures. At the time, I had no idea who made them only later did I find out the maker.
Britains spacemen
One of the popular series from Britains were their Deetail space series. The series lasted from 1981 to 1985. The figures came with either separate pistol or rifle. You can see here that Britains used the same bodies.
Space aliens
The space aliens also used human bodies of Stargards. The difference between two types the Stargards had human heads while the aliens had helmets. The first series is easier to find the later orange series.
In a future post, we will show the rest of this series and some of their accessories. We would like to thank Kent Sprecher for use of the figures from his web site.

Happy Labor Day

Laurie and I wish everyone a safe and happy Labor Day. We will be taking it easy and have some hot dogs with either some macaroni or potato salad.

The Bonux black figure is a direct copy-cloned of Jecsan 16 poses astronauts set that actually the two Original Jecsan bellow are part in same series as well .
COMANSI did two space series.OVNI with years date in base as follow 20182019,2022… and Thunderbird .
The above Comansi is from OVNI =or UFO in ENGLISH series that bring a lot action poses total with pistol and space rifles plus robots and rare aliens. They are still around on ebay often .The amount of poses of OVNI base in my collection is 25 ,but there more as was done in years adding more poses after as far i understand …
Thunderbirds comics were reissued and brought here by me ,I only import 24 bags to test ;not a good sale as very comics type.
The vehicles and large spacecraft made x thunderbirds set were not recast or available to be import in 90s unfortunately as they will be maybe a best sale
PH company made a 6 poses unique aliens/space figures sets as well.
Reamsa never produce original but rather copy cloned 6 poses from Lido Captain video and others from Ajax.
There is a variation base in 8 poses marx 7o mm space set with robot made in Spain as Pipero with different poses and weapons.I have it and may supply photos if like .

Britain space series are among my favorite. The new space marines from walmart ,airfix ,some chinese sets and galob made in 90s sets are perfect match to blend with then in scale and space type spacesuits and weapons i think
The Britain space mutant and rare swivel aliens are awesome made and my favorite.I got plenty then but never found any mutant without the sticky material issue that they suffer in heads .Like candy melting
    Wonder why this happen !!?
I will soon list extras Britain spacecraft and vehicle for sale to reduce my doubles
    Best .

Not to change the subject but I didn’t know where else to post this comment. Has anybody heard any more information about what Austin Miniatures is bringing to the Chicago Toy Soldier Show? I had heard that they would have a new playset available but I haven’t heard any details and was hoping someone might know something. Any coverage on the upcoming show would be appreciated as it’s less than three weeks away and is, in many ways, the preeminent show for new plastic production in the U.S. I’m really looking forward to going.

More of a question than a comment…..does anyone know anything about a ( 54mm ) hand painted metal repro of a marx Tales of Wells Fargo Jim Hardie figure? I’ve recently acquired one and have no idea of the value, if any? Bottom of the base has the initials H.H. on it. Any help appreciated, thanks & ha6 collectin9!
