Rich Fisher has sent us photos of two items from his collection. The first set of photos show the Comansi covered wagon.

The covered wagon is set for 60mm figures. Checking with Erwin Sell, he said the wagon came with four horses. Rich only has two of the horses and sadly they are damaged.
Overview of Comansi Wagon
Here we have an overview of the Comansi covered wagon. You will notice the horses attached on the side of the yoke. Also, the wagon has harnesses for the horses.

One of the things I like about the Comansi covered wagon is it has the brake on the side. Unlike other brakes, on most other plastic wagons, this brake is a separate piece

The other photos set me was of the Cane Civil War figures. As I mentioned in a previous posting, These figures are upscale copies of the Britains Civil War swoppet figures. As mention by Erwin, Cane did a 54mm version of Civil War figures. While they are not historically accurate, I like them and will see if I have any and photograph them in the near future.

Mars Figures are Now Available

Rahway has alerted me that two of the new Mars Figure sets are showing up on Ebay. the first one is Mars French Napoleonic Old Guard. They will go well with your Airfix Napoleonic figures. The other is the Zombie Pirates

Exciting news about the upcoming CTS Korean War – long time coming and I know they’ll be worth the wait. I’m hoping the Mars Guard are good – couldn’t tell from the pics. If their compatible they would make great supplements to the Airfix Guard figures; I don’t know that I’d want to build an entire formation with them, but as I said, if they’re compatible they might give some variation to my formations. Good news all around, though.

I’d like the Comansi wagon in different color with new horses – thanks for sharing the pics.

I import and sold the Commansi wagons ,carriages and stagecoach along with 6 building ,two forts and some other sets in late 90s till 2003
The western carriage all come with two pair horses and harness connection give you possibility to add more if like .They were sold in card close boxes or window cases .Horses often painted and decals added to carriages.
Above wagon with unpainted driver (They made 3 poses x carriages) looks very late 80s or 90s
Comansi also sold and offer me extra set of 2 pairs horses with harness/connectors in bags x this reason as well .I never import the add on sets .
CTS new marines in winter coat can be use for last stage of WW2 war winter scene as well if poses carry not post WW2 weapons and or later winter Korean gear/coats
    my thoughts

That’s great news about CTS with their Marines have just come back from the London toy soldier show. I bought 4 sets of their Koreans set 2 from Matt from hobby bunker also bought a lot of Marx items from him spent over two hundred pounds with him. Also saw Fred Barrett had lots of Barzso figures from him and three 21st century tanks for £50.00 must have spent £200.00 with him then we went to see Gareth Morgan and bought Conte resin afghans and seven Britains trees from him so we had a good day.

Are there any pictures up yet of the CTS Korean War Marines?

  6. Rich Fisher says:

Does anyone have the Comansi wagon horses FOR SALE?? I need to replace the damaged ones in the picture. I need 4 horses & the extra 2 horse hitch.

It is great news to hear that CTS is continuing their Korean War series. The winter gear marines are badly needed. I’d like to see summer dress Chinese or North Koreans. Any Americans (like they are doing) or British are/would be very welcome. I look forward to seeing pictures of them.
