Stadsstuff Is Back Up Web Site Follies, what can I say. We have been down for almost three days. For the last few days, you have been seeing a photo of the boys on the green screen. That page was from my days of using Microsoft FrontPage. I lost access when one of my previous computers died and FrontPage was no longer available.
Stadsstuff Is Back Up What Happen
The problem started on April 24. I had not made any changes, but Host Monster, my host provider had done an upgrade. That upgrade knocked out my WordPress out leaving the Front Page out. I called on April 24th and got their tech support. They tried to fix but sent it up to tier two support. On the 24th I got a notice from tier two that it had been resolved on WordPress. However, it was still showing my old information. Calling back, I got Mike who saw the problem and worked hard, but could not get the site up. He submitted another ticket to the higher tier and I would get a response in 24 hours.
After 24 hours I called back as the old site still up. This time I got Amanda. What was ironic, she had walked by Mike’s station and some him working on my problem. It stuck out to her as the site was showing a photo of the boys.
Amanda was able to figure out the problem and get the site back up. So we are back in business.
Some Benefits Out of this Mess
The temporary loss of the site allowed me to go in and grab some old photos and a piece of information. That piece of information was who made the above figures. I need it for some French collectors. The company was Eskin Plastik. The Turkish figures have a Pecos influence.
One final benefit you notice now we are HTTPS not HTTP. We now have security and will add a sale site here.
It is good to be back up.

I google Stads Stuff and the 2011 page still comes up under Stads Stuff Home. I scroll down to Fleet Action and that brings me to the current comment time. Before this trouble happened under Stads Stuff it would go into the current comment time. Just a heads up.
You need to type https://www.stadsstuff.com/ in google not in chrome.
It will appear as before in the current updated page with last comment
The https is been the update main page search engine now.
