Nino’s Toy Soldiers New Figures Highlanders

Nino’s Toy Soldiers New Figures Highlanders Erwin got the following  information  from nino

This is just to inform you that I have now two Highlander figures available in resin.

I have just posted them on my web-site, where you can find a few pictures.

Hopefully, I will soon add one or two more poses, as well as some more Canadians and Hussars. Then, if all is well, I will move on to scultpting some French regulars…

Kind regards,

Nino

    Nino,

Those are great figures and excellent painting. I wonder do you use a pressure pot to prevent bubbles in your resin casts?

      Ted,

Thank you for your kind words!

Yes I use a pressure pot, with pressure up to 5.5 – 6 bar.

I also use a slow-curing type of resin, which allows for about 10 minutes between pouring the resin in the molds, transferring the molds in the pot and closing it.

There really are no bubbles at all, every pour is a good pour. Quite a change from when I did not use the pot, and got a good pour out of ten!

      Kind regards,

      Nino
