Joe always stopped in to see us at OTSN, and we would also run into each other at events in the Chicago area. And don’t forget his two toy soldier mysteries, starring Professor Norman – “The Price of Their Toys” and “Death and Texas.” We will miss him.

It’s always sad to hear about the passing of people you share something in common with, even if you have never met them. We all get older and things happen to us, but way deep down at heart, we’re all still that little boy we once were, setting up his toy soldiers on the living room rug.
