At least Jordan did not try to sell the items he bought this week at auction as I felt he overpaid for the items he bought. This episode found Jordan in San Francisco where he went to three places a Spiderman collector, general collector and action figures collector. I looked up a number of the items he bought on Ebay and found what he was paying was the asking price on Ebay. He bought the Luke Skywalker with telescoping light saber , which he valued at $300.00. Looking at Ebay I saw a similar one at $100.00. The Mego Spiderman he paid $50.00 I saw loose Mego Spiderman on Ebay for $9.99. There are ones at higher prices, but not enough information was given on the show to make judgement if was a rare variant or not. It was another disappointing show.
I am hearing dealers complaining that people are seeing these shows and then having people trying to get these high prices for their items. Let me know what you thought of the show and if you are seeing any price changes out in the market.
