Part Two August 2022 Odds Ends Flea Market Time, I finally was able to get to a flea market. Next, I will share photos from the collection. While it is up I have a link to an Ebay offering on a Plastimarx catalog.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Since my accident, one thing I wanted to do was a flea market. I had to wait until I was able to use a cane instead of a walker. I finally was able to do it this past week. Since I could not sleep I got up early. In this market, people are running around with flashlights. I got there and started walking down the only row with lights. One dealer had a Remco WWI tank, but he wanted market price. I pass as I was not looking for anything to add to my collection. I did not see any other items as I got to bottom of the row. I found a spot to sit and watch the people running around with their flashlights. I also saw that the people were not finding anything. I talked to one person that he was looking for anything for resale. After a while, I head out. A dealer had set up with a mass of Marx Playsets he had bought at an auction. He wanted to sell the lot as one unit for $1500.00. I looked over it and realize it would be a hassle to resort and pass. <\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

My only find was a little box with Hong Kong Western figure parts. Also in the box were these four items. The horse on the left is by Fleetwood which made it for the Legend of the Lone Ranger. It is a Tonto’s horse. I have no idea who made the next two figures. The Indian is by Michel of France.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Here are some more items from my very good friend Peter Evans. It is a mix of various fantasy and superheroes. The second figure on the left is a Lord of the Rings figure. I have a spear for him.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

When I first started to drive after the accident, I would rest after I put the back up getting the walker out. The one time I spotted in the gutter this Remco Roman standard bearer. I figured that he must have fallen out of one of the junk boxes I got in June. He picked up and will be kept despite his condition.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

Part Two August 2022 Odds Plastimarx 1961 Catalog<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Our friend Rahway spotted the following listing on Ebay for a 1961 Plastimarx Catalog<\/a>. the catalog is 60 pages. The seller has listed several pages including some of the figures available at that time. I figured the original owner was a train collector. It sold for $78.00.
