Today, It Would Have Been 30 years, on August 22, 1992, Laurie and I got married. For both of us, it was a culmination of finding someone to share our lives together. We met through an ad in the paper and we found that we enjoyed being with each other. realized to get married.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The wedding had its share of problems getting ready. One of the problems was Laurie.s wedding dress. When she tried it on it was the wrong size. She had to bring in a lawyer. When she went for a new fitting. I told her to buy it right then so the jerk could not switch it. She replied she did not have the money I replied I did and would be available. She took several women with her. the dress fit and one of the women got the money for it.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n

The day of the wedding went well. One of the highlights was I paid for Bob Burns to come. My ushers who some people thought were my bodyguards were big toy people. Among our guests was Dan Roebuck, who will play Grandpa Munster in the new Munster movie<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Sometime I will share some photos from the wedding. One other thing our flower girl was my dog, Cindy. The Cherubs were on the wedding cake.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Final Thoughts<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

For almost 30 years we went through good and bad. Laurie enjoyed doing the shows and meeting many of the collectors. She was there when I had health issues and I was there for her health decline. I was driving her to work and her appointments. Sometimes, I will tell you about the snowstorm I had to go through to pick her up from work. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We would go out to eat on our anniversary. Nothing fancy, I will do that tomorrow and think about our life together. <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
