Odds Ends July 2022 Ukrainian Modern Forces

"Odds
Mars is showing a future set of modern Ukrainian forces. Here we have how figures look painted. I can see the figures used in various other settings. I like the pose of the soldier leaning backward and firing the pistol. No date when they will be out.

"Juan's
My very good friend Juan Hermida is planning to due three separate updates to his excellent book on Spanish plastic. Here are Juan’s comments on this project. Due to the high interest in my book “Plastic Toy Figures Made in Spain” during all these years, and to continue my philosophy of sharing our passion for toy soldiers I decided to update the book and split the contents into 3 themes: Wild West, Soldiers and another generic (for pirates, circus, safari, etc…). These 3 books will be available at the end of the year. They are very visual and easy to handle. I will announce when they are ready. Also, they are dedicated to my friend and top collector Mariano Bravo who died two months ago.
