Like the mounted Roman, the mounted Russian knight has two different arms you can use. The first arm is a lance with a banner. The second arm is with a sword.

When the No Name Viking came out there were only five poses  available. There were three more poses but they were not ready.  This is a bad habit of this company which is aggravating for collectors and dealers.

The three poses are as follows

  1. Standing with sword overhead  in right hand. left hand is holding a spear. The Viking is dressed in an animal skin.
  2. Viking is standing with hand axe in right hand at side and round shield in left hand.
  3. Crouched slightly over  holding spear in left hand and round shield in his left hand.

Figures are well detailed. Only complain is not enough action poses. Still they will mix in well with your 60mm figures such as the Marx Vikings.

You can find them on Ebay and the price is very reasonable. At the moment you can only get these figures from Russia dealers.  We will have to hear if Kent Sprecher will be carrying  them on his site. .

Not bad figures but A bit on the tall side for me I think, And the poses are a bit Boring and I think they would be very difficult to convert. I have noticed over the past few years that companys are putting out many boring poses which is the main reason I do so much converting myself. I want exciting Action fighting poses. So I wont be buying these. Just my opinion.

I like then .Cavalry is need.
The roman again looks a bit as Legionarie mounted.
The russian mounted is a plus.
Horse well detail and done just that in not running pose.
They should focus in a set of mounted tartars or mongols and not using same horses please.
The drop release way announce is not good too.
But is the risk I guess of short run production .
Still they should release it in either one full set altogether or make two .
    My thoughts.
    Best ..

Volzhvz from Basevich’ Russian Warriors and the guy in skins can be used as Beserkers.

  4. Darren Hatley says:

Yeah ok I admit the Cavalry are pretty good but I concentrate on collecting figures on foot now and not cavalry, Although I do own about 250 cavalry figures from various makes.

  5. Is the company called ‘No Name’ or does it have no name?

    • erwin says:

It has not name so every one had double then (No name ).Not reason for it ,I suspect as coping many metal cast designed poses figures will not put name to avoid issues ….
      My thoughts
      best ..

The company has no name when I was first made aware of this company no one could give me a name. I need a name and called it No Name. It has sort of stuck to this company. Part of the reason the party has not given a name as the figures are based on lead figures of another company.

They look lovely I have got all the other figures they have released so far you can get them from Steve Weston in the UK. The only figures I cant get at the moment is the PVBILVS figures with only have the romans at the moment would love to have all the ones they have released so far.

  8. Darren Hatley says:

You should be able to get most of not all of them on ebay James as long as you can afford them. They are lovely figures but a bit expensive, For me anyway.

  9. Darren Hatley says:

Sorry what I meant to say was you should be able get Most of them or All of them on ebay.

  10. Carl Cwiklinski says:

I did not see these on eBay – at least not where I found the other Russian knights. Engineer Basevich shows these figures fighting his Russian Warriors on his FB page.

  11. james nixon says:
