Plastic Figures Around World February 2017 My Items

Plastic Figures Around World February 2017

First item I am showing this time is four DC Super villians I picked up recently.  We have Deadshot. Luthor in his battle armor, Killer Croc and Harley Quinn. I got them at Zolocon. This is toy show for science fiction and comic book toys. I had gone to show see some people doing 3d and some friends. I found these figures on a stand.  As Erwin mention I have a collection of superhero figures.  As a child I had made my own and later got the Ideal Superheroes.   Over the years  Ihave picked up various figures  and do not know how many I have. This year I am going to inventory to see how many I have.

Getting back to the figures I got I found out they are made by a company called Monogram.  What is more interesting they are cake toppers! Unless you have a master license, licensors will give  a license for one person to do statues of a character another to do a character in certain size. The licensor might give a license for  a particular item like fladhlight or cake toppers.

Checking Ebay I found the Harley Quinn is different from  ones for sale. I will be checking more to see if I can get others.

This is a figure is a British with an automatic weapon. The figure is between 70 and 90mm. I have no idea who made him. Once again I got the figure for the pose.

Plastic Figures Around World February 2017Finally a preview from our upcoming Plastic figures Germany Austria we have two Linde figures. These were giveaways in Austria. Interesting …
The fist western set box copy of Jean I had seen in eBay only.
The building I got 4 seat each they were sold here in exact same format(blister card in 90s ) they were abundant and still around on eBay, they are copies of BIG/JEAN but with minor differences in post else, they too could be combined to create many and could be add to Jean models as well. That is reason I got so many to create more combination. Now I have with those cowboys and other with solid copies of actual jean Hoefler too. Some packs are mark others not .
They will be part of my spring western lay out..

The obscure slant roof house I think is listed as farm house in the Jean catalog I have too ,never see as that like western house
The soldier I got several as that pose and standing firing plus other pose ,mine have berets. I do not now exact brand but could be from France, Italy or else.
I got mine in a mix lot about 5 /6 years ago from Italy.
Linde are super interesting well done figures. For me had been neglected unfortunately .

Linde were not know until 25 -30 years ago in UK and U.S. Michael Smith got them the day of a Plastic Warrior Show from Austria. I bought the box and brought back to the states. This was before the internet now they are available on the Germany Ebay.

Great to know.Another of u introduction admin.
        Thanks x helping hobby ….
I check internet and the collection is huge…the history of brand too.
Their nativity sets are nice too.
        Another of my wanted line…

  2. The China/Hong Kong carded buildings and copies of Timpo wagons were sold in the UK for a short time under the “Golden West” brand

I bought 4 carded knockoff Jean “Western Hero” building sets in the very early 2000s from a guy who used to run a website called “Toy Soldier Recruitment”. I miss his site. You could get all kinds of China/Hong Kong accessories and figures very cheaply in large quantities. Lots of nice buildings and artillery pieces etc. for the battlefield.

The person name is Richard Madeiros, he not longer sale toy soldiers and barely collect any more, he move to Florida about 5/6 years ago .I bough from him too. Nice person and yes he usually have a list type too before Internet web site, then made one site store and brought a lot rare non common stuff as well because he traveled, he is original from Brazil and connect with me in Facebook as well.
His prices were very cheap and most stuff was Chinese or South American made.
I got the contact of MPC reissued WW2 Japanese and Russian I import thanks to him from BASA-Peru.
He reads here once in wile too…
      Best…

Thanks, Erwin! I had forgotten his name. Too bad he no longer sells. His site really filled a niche. Another site, Toy Soldier Depot, was selling that sort of stuff for a while after Madeiros shut down, but now they seem to carry mostly brand-name model kits and diorama supplies rather than the cheap China-made soldiers and accessories. I now have to shop around among Chinese sellers on eBay. I’ve assembled a pretty neat 1/72 scale prison camp using that sort of stuff.

        • erwin says:

          I agree Mark T.
He had a unique line ,include fantasy and SFC figures not common seen around.
Yes toy soldier depot barely carry what is more around in Chinese stuff and we know now with their kit line as well.
So I guess we end looking around or else, I had not travel for long either ,so not much to see other than wait…
