Das Awkscht Fescht Toy Show August 2016

Das Awkscht Fescht Toy Show August 2016 will be held from August 5 through the 7. The show is two parts the first is an antique car show. The car show is 53 years old. and brings people from around the country to Macungie PA. There will be various cars on display and a flea market.  While the flea market will be mostly car parts, you can find other items. I was recently told my a collector he found science fiction books. The books were sign by their authors.

Second part and most importantly for our readers is the toy show.  The toy show is held at Eyer Middle School.  There are two parts to the toy show.  The first is the outside dealers who start sending up on Friday Morning August 5th. These dealers will have a wide range of items including plastic figures.  We never know what will show up. One year a Marx Johnny Ringo showed up and sold for less than $5.00!

Many well known dealers will be there selling their wares. Among them will be Steve Savino of Toy Hunter. Other well known dealers will be ones we have mentioned  many times in our web site. (Note: these dealers will subject to change.)

The second part of  is the indoor toy show which is on Saturday August 6th. This is held inside the Eyer Middle School.  The majority of the dealers will be selling toys related to automotive. Do not let that stop you from going in as plastic does show up. One year a Marx Pet Shop was sold on the inside. I have also found plastic figures inside.

Das Awkscht Fescht Toy Show August 2016 My Thoughts

This show has many great memories. It was the only toy show that my father and I went to together.  I have found many great items for the collection and resale. Still I have missed some items like the Marx Zoo playset and a course Johnny Ringo. I have found so much that it does not bother what I missed.

The show is two great days. Each day can have surprises.  When you are not hunting you can talk to people know or meet new people. I will be roaming around so hope to see you there.
