Figures from a Junk Box

047

I got a junk box where I found the following figures.

048

The first item is little mouse figure with a cute face.  A piece of fence I have not seen before. It will stand on its own. The cowboy is one of two Marx cowboys I found in the box that someone tried to make bareheaded. The modern army figure running is by Remco and is copyrighted 1991.  The laying figure is British soldier throwing grenade.

The figure on left is a Rough Rider which may be a conversion. to its right is a copy of the Joy Toy Cowboy down size.  The Mexican is a Hong Kong copy of the Crescent Mexican. The last figure is other Marx cowboy that was converted.  I like surprises I find in junk boxes.

Prone figure sneaking along is a JAPANESE soldier!!

Yeah, I think the Japanese is an upsized Esci clone from a bagged set that came out about 5 years ago.

Yup, he was from the China made guys that came out before the newer tubed ones. I guess the helmet could be a pith helmet. Not a great figure. I kept one of each pose out of that stuff and painted them a mustardy color. Anything was better than the mint green they came in.

PS Any of these figures going on your Ebay site?

The fence section is from the Hasbro Weebles ranch house. Weebles were a toy line for toddlers from the 1970s. I still have one of those fence pieces that I scoffed from my 10 years younger nephew for use in Boot Hill roleplaying games back when we were about 12 and 2 years old.
Pic of the set is here: http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/ljMqcXvUoUw/maxresdefault.jpg
