Marx Boonesborough Pioneer Question

A friend got the Boonesborough pioneer in red brown.  He asked me if this color  is corrected or reissue color? I know the figures were done in  tan color and in the UK in a yellow. I am not sure on the red brown  can anyone answer this question?

  1. One of the first molds to get back in action. I ran into reissues in a hobby shop in Jackson Mississippi back in the early 1990s. The redbrown are reissues. One story I have heard is that when the mold surfaced, one guy had it run in metallic blue and then went around selling them as “rare test shots”…… Reissues have been made in; rose tan, redbrown, buckskin tan, metallic blue, light blue, royal blue, forest green, light gray and probably other colors as well.

Same here back in the 90s.
