Marx Convention 2015

We found this post on the Marx Convention.  The article is geared toward the Johnny West  collectors. I hope to talk to some people who went to the convention this weekend.

Very interesting post. I particularly enjoyed the included video of Scott Stewart’s presentation on the chronology of the Johnny West line. I wasn’t familiar with any of the Johnny West figures, since they came out when I was in high school, and my interests had veered sharply away from my childhood toy soldier collection, which by that point, had become non-existent. But right at the end of the video, when the list of all the components and figures of the whole Johnny West line go rolling down (42 figures, `6 horses, 2 dogs, etc., and you can see all that was available, it really gets your collecting spirit up.

Yeah, Johnny West was a bit late for me, too, though I did have Mark Hazard figure and a couple GI Joes they never caught my fancy the way the little guys did.
