We have heard from Ken of Lodi Enterprises with the latest update on forth coming figures. Here is what he said.
I am excited to report that everything is progressing as expected with my first set of figures from the Trojan War. I received samples last week and we are only going to make two small cosmetic changes overall.
Each bag will contain 16 figures (8 total poses) with the cream colors representing the Greeks and the blue representing the Trojans.
Everything is still on track for a debut at the OTSN in late September.
Thank you, Ken, for the update. I, for one, appreciate news about what’s going on, and I know others in the hobby do as well. I look forward to getting my hands on these in Chicago. OTSN, here we come!
And by the way, the figures themselves look pretty good, too!
The Greeks seem to look better than the Trojans, some dynamic poses on the Greeks.
Anyone know what scale?
It was posted back in April on this site that the figures would be “close to 60mm”, and would “match up well with TSSD, Austin Miniatures, and Expeditionary Force.”
Love the color choices. They look like you peeled them right off of a ancient vase.
Greg you are absolute right, I had seen same colors at museums ,the blue is very similar, so the cream that look more yellow type, the picture flash help more. I like the poses as resemble the 2D images of antique , still are very 3D mold/designed.
Excellent figures
The TSSD website shows the Greeks in an up-close photo that makes the creme colored detail look quite impressive.
would any body know the exact scale in these new figures coming, if close to atlantic, conte or else!?
The previous posts said the figures “are close to 60mm” and “match up well to recent releases by TSSD, Austin Miniatures, and ExForce”. Of course, since there’s been some variation in ExForce, as well as variation between TSSD’s Romans vis a vis TSSD’s Barbarians, your question may still not be quite answered. You probably won’t have a definitive answer, Erwin, until you hold them in your hands, sometime after September 27, 2015.
Thank you Don ,will see them ;hope they go well with as they said. They look great figures in sculpting.
