Greg’s Last Roman Conversion

100_5374

Greg Liska has done another  conversion.

I ended up with a ‘spare’ swordsman. Rather than make another archer, I made him  a heroically posed leader. I moved the sword arm up, turned the head as if he were calling to men behind him, opened the mouth by carving it out so he is calling to them. Naturally, he got a base, shield and was painted pewter

Great idea, way to go!!.Did you cut arm to move it or use the warm process !?

  3. Greg Liska says:

The arm was cut and moved. It was way too far to consider heat treating. I guess I’ve done this to death now. Time to put them into battle.
I also did, in fact, finally come up with 10 of the Simba / Supreme archers.

Very nice work Greg. Do you have a plan for the Simba archers? (dreaded archers from Crete)
I am in the slow process of building Roman & opposing forces in 40mm. It is a lot of fun & planning.
    Thanks for sharing.
