Alex from Russia has informed us that Ken Glennon is doing a book on John Miller. Ken Glennon has collected materials for this book for 20 years. He has talked with relatives, factory workers, etc. This is a look on the man who created  first the plaster soldiers and then the plastic dinosaurs, aliens and much more.  The book is supposed to be out some time this year.

Ken has a company called Miller 21th Century. This company is doing  new plaster military figures in the style of the old Miller army. plaster figures. The limited figures include Eisenhower and Marines.

The Miller Aliens are quite expensive. They can go for $75.00 and up. The rarest is Neptune and has had prices around $700.00. I still remembering going to the Allentown Toy Show thirty years ago and a party had a bunch of the Miller Aliens for sale. He complained that he had carried around all summer and sold them for a cheap price. Laurie ended up with them and all of my dinosaurs when we married.
Someone did reissues years ago, but I never saw them.

The collection of Miller aliens which now are Laurie’s mostly came from my childhood and that purchase I mention in the previous reply. I rarely see the figures and usually very expensive. Last one I purchased was $75.00 from a good friend.
On the Elastolin I only have one damage.

I was referring to the Robert Mitchum pose shooting with M1 G ,The pose was casted from a photo done of the film (The Story of G.I. Joe)-1945 at Italy front combat scene.

Playset magazine had an article where Mark Harris compared the various figures to various actors. I do not remember the issue number.

wow!!; I had miss that issue!!, definitely Robert was super well done on that, wonder if the rest were from the same movie or not!?.
I got all of then(GI’S) with Patton too. Still not hard to find at a good deal around, but problem is the weapon tips always are damage, I manage mine to get all fine in about 5 years.
