McIver’s War Wagon

Brian McIver has sent pictures of a War Wagon made by using a New Ray stagecoach.  It is not an exact copy of the wagon from War Wagon, it is still pretty close. Brian said that has made several of these war wagons and sold one to a collector in Spain for 68 pounds or $103.00.

War Wagon Is movie starring John Wayne and Kirk Douglas. The plot is Wayne returns from jail to take revenge on Bruce Cabot who stole his land because it had gold on it and was false accused of a crime. Wayne’s plan is to rob the War Wagon which is used to take gold from the mine.
The War wagon was on displayed at Universal Studios for many years.

Yes the War Wagon was at CA Universal Studios. I saw it twice in the 80’s first when I took my mother and then when I took my mother, aunt and uncle. They had it on display. I might have a picture of it some where.

I made this a few years ago & have since made a resin turret that rotates with metal rivet detail. The one in this photo mounts a Timpo Gattling gun. I might make some more in the near future as I still have about 10 of the stagecoaches from the New-Ray western playsets.
