Just when you thought You had seen

Just when you thought you had seen everything from a company something pops up to tell you guess again. With Auburn I thought I had seen all of their figure production. I had even seen the Spanish copies of the Auburn figures. So imagine my surprise to see these multicolor animals from Auburn.  The figures are designed to take their heads off to make new animal combinations, so a bear could have the head of donkey etc.  I checked  around and so far  I have only seen one other example which Kent Sprecher has on his Auburn list. These figures must not have been a good seller which makes them hard to find.

    OTSN,

I was rather disappointed in OTSN this year, not the new items and dealers, but in the Shoppers. First off, someone actually stole some figures from me and secondly it seemed to me that the buyers were very reluctant to part with any money. On Sunday the fastest selling item seemed to be the $2.00 & $3.00 Britains Detail knights being sold by Sierra Toy Soldiers. My total sales for Sunday was $65.00. Overall I thought the room trading traffic was slow, I guess the economy is killing everything.

I am sorry to hear that the show was not good for you. The economy does not help things. I heard a bunch of people did not come because of the cost to travel to the show. Hopefully it will be better next year.

These are brilliant! They were way ahead of their time. It’s a shame what the mob did to Auburn. They made great stuff.
