When you expand the size of the bottom photo, the addition of the over the shoulder bedrolls and the canteen on the back are just brilliant. Ed Borris, Alamo convertor par excellence, what do you think?

  2. Ed Borris says:

Looks like an excellent job to me. One of my issues has always been removing the bed rolls, how did they get added?

I already converted a couple of the Paragon Alamo defenders as well as a couple other, I’ll try and get some pictures. I really need to get a cell phone with a camera. Somehow I have resisted getting a cell phone all these years.

It’s good to see MPC cowboys getting put to good use. Generally, we sell them in large junk lots. We usually sell them on e-bay under seller *bookie. Check us out we usually have some good items as well as some of the cheaper figures.

  3. Brian Johnson says:

They’re way better than anything I can do but isn’t the Canteen just a little TOO big?LOL.

  4. erwin says:

It may well be a rare drum type Civil War Wooden Canteen often up to 10-11” diameter (Original made for long riders/messengers cavalrymen)Copied from Spaniard/Mexican colonial era old style(cantiplora-barril) .They are several at museums.
