RARE ARMOR 1.30-128 SCALE

Our very good friend Erwin  has come up with two rare armor and is hoping you can  either give more information or have one of these armor pieces.

Here are two rare armors made by a little know and obscure company name(ECSTASY) in Taiwan in early 80’.One (the Hummel self-propelled artillery= cannon from Germany). It was purchase from a French collector in 2003 on eBay and cost me with shipping and all $25.67.After years searching under same company and no luck. I discover and purchase from another seller on eBay (this time from California) a rare panzer IV; later version. ($9.99) plus shipping. Both armor vehicles are battery operated. The Hummel has a recoiled fire effect in the cannon every time it stop running (very impressive). The other is not running/working. What made both interesting most is the fact that they are about 1.28 scale or for (65-70 mm )  figures but the crews on one are German figures solid molded copies of Tamiya 1.35 scale cannon crew poses. On the panzer IV the crew are American s!?,again 1.35 scale, not German!?The hatches are lost or removed by previews owner. I had set some other figures scales inside and armor too for comparison. The Elastolin plastic figures are a perfect match for the scale next to the Hummel as you could see on pictures. Definitely is the only close to 1.32 scales German self-propelled Hummel vehicle ever made as far I know in plastic toy-non kit. A  LATER TOY VERSSION BATTERY OPERATED WAS SOLD IN 2005 AT LOCAL STORES NEAR ME(both model were copied but with much less detail)I do own all those too. I will appreciate any add information on this factory (ECSTASY)and other vehicles /else from .As both seller claim bought it at local stores in their areas back in the early 80’s but nothing more.

  1. DAMN!
The real gem here is the HUMMEL!
I would just lie to myself about the scale and treat it like a NASHORN for 1:32!
    GREAT FIND!

  2. erwin says:

Yep: Just adding the cannon from any tiger will do a close resemblance to the NASHORN.

  3. Mark says:

Very nice Erwin ! Apparently the Panzer IV was captured and is being used by Americans ! Awesome !

  4. erwin says:

Thank you for the plus to everyone. Still I will appreciate any information regarding this company and if other toys were done. These so far are the only seen by me on eBay on the last 10+ years. Also check on vintage and toy soldiers shows and antique/else stores. I had search under electronic, battery operated and control remote tanks/armor /toys also on vintage and many others, by Honk Kong and Taiwan toys on the international search too. And nothing at all comes from this company. Still I doubt they did only these two toys!!?

  5. erwin says:

Brian, yes; will ask admin to see if he can publish one more picture with bottom part that say all. Name, country, serial number and else. (Only one part of the box of the Hummel comes. They were supposed to be control remote too. I forgot to mention it as they both had a receiver metal aerial. But the battery system once turn on make one run fine and shot the cannon every 5-7 seconds as stop. Other does not work but I will try to fix it. The inside electronic part clearly shows these toys were not cheap made. Very well done connection and sensors with good material. So I will assume they were not cheap at all!!

  6. Christian Aldo says:

That new company SELLTOY, had better make a 1:32 HUMMEL!
    I DEMAND IT!

  7. erwin says:

Aldo .I will think about. But will go best for NASHORN.jJust that the crew will take me some more time, unless acepted with out!!

  8. erwin says:

I did contact this person and is indeed, ecstasy brand inside a galoob case pack box. Another interesting fact is that it also in California as last I bought and they are control remote. Now the Hummel version has not being discovered yet. Thank you Brian!!Good hunt

  9. Riley says:

I actually have the panzer 4 and am currently trying to restore it to its former glory. I got it from my fathers friend and while most of the circuitry is rusted the main body and even the little figures on the tank are still there.

    • ERWIN SELL says:

I have two of then after this post.not working but with all systems inside still.
I open one up try restore but not time x it .I manage get two more Hummels after.
They work good w EXF scale germans and others tall scale 65 /70 mm.
