I took a little time off this week and saw the Captain America movie. The bottom line is I enjoyed the movie. The story was well thought out and I like some the changes they did to the origin bringing Howard Stark Tony Stark’s father in and the bond tour with Captain America’ using his original shield. This is a comic book version of WWII using some of the legends of devices that were being built etc. Good action and I enjoyed seeing some of the Howling Commandos in the film (Dum Dum Dugan was one of my favorite’s). It was a movie I will get on DVD when it comes out. (Laurie has already been told to get it for my birthday or Christmas.)
The only annoyance was the theater was nearly empty so I missed having a crowd to cheer certain scenes. The other thing that annoyed me were the commercials before the movie trailers. I like seeing the moveie trailers so I can decide if I am going to see a movie or not. I do not need to see the commercials I see on television.
