Marx Canadian Flag

Our good friend Brian Johnson sent us an EBay listing for a Marx Canadian Flag that was done in Canada. The only problem is the flag was not design until 1965. Brian emailed the seller and informed them of the error. They replied that they did not know.

So, the Fort Apache sets with the powder blue 60 mm’s didn’t come with a Canadian flag? I assume they were made prior to 1965. I’ve only seen two Canadian Fort Apache’s and didn’t pay attention to the flag.

Marx made the Canadian Red Ensign tin flag.If you are not familiar with it think Australia flag only Red not Blue and the Canadian Coat of Arms shield where the Stars are on the Australia flag are.Was used till 1965 when the Maple Leaf flag was introduced.Whenever the Red Ensign one shows up on Ebay it gets big bucks and this Maple Leaf one right now is also pulling in some big bids.

Yes it is amazing what some items go for. I wonder if the person need it for a Playset or not.

Marx collectors are off the charts sometimes, I’m hoping to get some large money of my Matt’s and Chesters, also just picked up a teal Custer and a couple ranch kids.

I find e-bay to be a crap shoot, you never know how much you will get and you never predict how much you’ll have to spend to get what you want.
