Our very good friend Mathias has placed up on the French Plastic Figure Forum pictures of two plastic figure sets from Russia. One set is of Boxer Rebellion Chinese, the other set is Japanese Infantry 19oo. Each set has eight different figures very well detailed and some great action poses. One down side is the figures are listed as test shots. The other down side the figures are in soft plastic so the weapons are warped. Hopefully this problem will be resolved if they go to production.
The figures are not cheap. The listed price per set is 3200 Rubles or over $104.00! We will let know when we find out more information. For now you can go to the link below and see the figures

No the figures are not Armies in Plastic. The poses and detail are different from Armies in Plastic.

Nice figures! Are these the same people who did the Russian Revolution figures? Hopefully they can get their prices down and export them in quantity to the USA.

“Very mysterious.
I bought it from chinese seller. He also have 2-3 metal painted sets with the same style sculpting. Also Boxer Rebellion theme.
Indeed very similar to “Conte china production” and first TSSD sets. Same plastic, same year.
On the bottom stamped “OWN FIGURES, Made in China, 2002″. Impossible find anything by Google.
Comes factory sealed in plastic bags (looking old and dusty), required minor assembly, while TSSD an Conte sold with already glued hands.
Because since 2002 we still not saw this figures in the shops, In my opinion it’s just test shots.”
