Detlef once again has share his finds  from the flea market. The first photo shows various items mostly from New Ray and others.

The second photos shows Detlef got more of the Marolin western figures. Also in the photo are Hong Kong swoppet western figures. One thing I will have to ask Detlef  if Marolin is common at his flea markets like Timmee is here.

Final flea market find some soft plastic Elastolin figureswith other western figures.

While preparing this post, Detlef sent me this photo of some more Plasty conversions he did.  The figures are to represent James Fenimore Cooper’s Leatherstocking Tales. The heroes of the novels Uncas, Chingachgook and Hawk Eye As to the rifle he has with the Uncas may be from Men of 76. On the blunder buss type rifle, I have no idea.

People may wonder why I have call some of the figures I am finding surprises. When we moved into our present location I move the collection in boxes with figures jumbled up.  I did not have time to sort.  I purchased plastic storage bins and tried sort by either companies or countries.  It has worked somewhat with the limited space I have.

Because all my other obligations I have, I don’t get time to review the collection. Also doing some cleaning I have found items that should have been in the collection.  Case in point after raking the leaves, I found in tin can in the garage the above Elastolin Sir Gawain.  Sadly it is damaged. The figure is missing part of its feet.  It is an early Elastolin possible a pearl base version.

Here is another figure that may be a surprise or not. I found it in one bins. I do not know who made him. Do you Know?
